The BRI is the oldest inn in Boyne City, established in 1893. It has new owners as of March of this year, Ed and Julie Mann. As owners of Smoke on the Water in Charlevoix, the Manns are known for scratch-made, reasonably priced food made with love.

Breakfast offers a bloody mary bar and hand-shredded hash browns, fluffy sour cream pancakes, bacon jam, omelets and biscuits and gravy...to name a few items.

Dinner offers John Cross Fisheries walleye with wild rice pilaf and steamed broccoli. They cook and slice their corned beef for one of the best reuben sandwiches you will find in Northern Michigan. Their hand-battered onion rings are amazing too. Limited Menu.

Happy Hour: Daily from 2-6 p.m. (2-4 p.m. Fridays only). Come in for discounted drinks and 40% off appetizers.

Specials: Friday night fish fry. Three pieces of our hand-battered cod, served with our house-made tartar sauce, our apple slaw and french fries. On Fridays, we feature Smoke on the Water's pulled pork sandwiches.
